It Takes a Village: Actions for a Healthier and Safer North Texas

Cohosted by Parkland Health and Hospital System, the Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Tarrant County Public Health Department, the Health Industry Council, the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council Foundation, Vision North Texas, Dallas County Health and Human Services, and the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas

It Takes a Village: Actions for a Healthier and Safer North Texas will bring together corporations, nonprofit organizations, governments, faith-based organizations, academic entities and private citizens interested in the health and safety of our region.

This event has two parts. The first, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., is open to anyone interested in promoting the health and safety of our region.

The second part of this event, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.,  will be for only leaders in the corporate, nonprofit, government, faith-based, academic and civic sectors. Separate invitations will be sent to them. There will be a facilitated discussion about how all sectors can help improve health, wellness and safety in North Texas to promote community and economic development.
